Lost some transitions when upgrading from 10 to 13
[Post New]
I just upgraded from PowerDirector 10 to 13. I noticed some of my transitions are no longer there, such as the various wipe left and wipe rights. Is there a way I can get these back? Thanks for any info.

All transitions is present in PD13, now you need to give more clik to get the transition you want.

Some transitions were grouped, then you add one in the timeline, then Modify button to select the type

Example: Add GRID transition Modify button opens 6 options (types)

Hi

As Playsound has suggested some of the transitions have been batched together according to their type.

1. Insert Wipe transition

2. Modify

3. Select Direction

Thanks to all the responded, after a couple of weeks of performing these extra clicks, I must now have to ask:

Is there a way I can save this “wipe right soft” as a custom transition so I do not have to click so often?

Thanks for any guidance.

Hi 007 -

Unfortunately, those wipe & slide transitions always default to "Up", so if you're partial to left or right it takes an extra couple of clicks.

Another option is to use a custom transition like this one - http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/135969021 - as it is, it wipes from left to right.

Cheers - Tony
