I tried PDVD 14, and really like it, but for me it is not usable until there is a way to launch the PDVD Media center player from the mediabrowser app from within Media center. I can launch the player right now, but there is now way to close it with the remote unless I program a separate button on my remote. I noticed that with the PDVD MCE player, the movie stop button does not work either.

Yes, I agree with you that it's ridiculous that you cannot just have WMC play the movie from within MCE. It takes you to the PowerDVD program where you have to go find the movie again and half of the remote functions do not work, so you have to get a keyboard out! It's very frustrating. I wish Arcsoft wouldn't have stopped development on TMT.

I ended up programming a button on my remote that closes whatever application is on screen (has focus).

Unfortunately that didn't work for me, as the Microsoft code for the remote won't work inside PowerDVD after you press stop (or close out of the current movie you are watching). It's extremely frustrating and irritating that they designed the software to do that, even though it says it's made for WMC!!!!
