Can't play mnay BD disks after update

Just was prompted to update PowerDVD 16, which ran all the BDs I could throw at it prior to the update. Now several Warner Brps. BDs are not starting.

16? Do you mean 14 or 13, or something older. What build do you now have? The latest is 4704.XX from back in November.

I meant 14. But it worked itself out when I rebooted. I am not sure what update I was prompted to download but when I did it broke the BD playback at least until I rebooted. thanks for taking the time to pursue.

But it did not work at my side after re-boot, should I reinstall powerDVD?

Emma, It is bad manners to hijack someone else's thread. Unless you have exactly the same issue and exactly the same computer and exactly the same version, any solution given to the original poster may not be a solution to yours.

Please start your own thread and give all the needed information.

If you do decide to re-install (or repair), make sure you have turned off your antivirus and remember to update after you reinstalled it. .
