Chopping concert into songs

I regularly film a concert, and then chop it up into separate songs. Is there a way in PowerDirector to do this in one hit - ie create all the separate songs simultaneously? At the moment I am using the Panasonic software HD Writer AE to chop the songs up, but this involves loading the entire concert, deleting everything but the one song, and then repeating this over and over till I have every song - takes ages. I then process in PowerDirector 12. If I could create all the songs in one go it would be an enormous time-saver.

Hi Peter -

The easiest thing I can think of is to use the Produce Range feature.

Select the range of each song/piece - right click & produce. Simple

Thanks, Tony.
I can see how to create and produce one range, but not several. Where did your colour boards come from - how do you select several ranges side by side? And when you produce the first one, won't the others disappear while the producing takes place?

Hi Peter -

No - you can only produce one range at a time... then select another etc.

This screen capture shows the basic process -

Colour boards can be found in the Media Library under the Media Content dropdown menu.

Cheers - Tony

Stressing that ynotfish showed.

In my case I divide first each song, this facilitates the selection.

This video was response to another topic and serves for your case.
