Hi,

I had recorded my app to make a video for it. I could not import it because you can't import a 4k video in trial package. I degraded the video using jihosoft video converter. When i degraded it, the text got blurred. When i open the video with VLC media player, text seems perfect but on importing it in Power Director the text went bad. It became hazy.
Can anyone help me with this?
and one more thing can you suggest any other video converter except jihosoft because it leaves a watermark on the video in the middle by its name which i dont want.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Neetika

It is normal to the image preview have low quality for faster processing.
Save a portion of the video (Produce) and see the quality. AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3
SSD SUV400S37240G / 2-HD WD 1TB
AMD Radeon R9 270 / AOC M2470SWD
Windows 7-64 / PD16 Ultimate

Hi Neetika -

If you converted the 4K video to low resolution/bitrate output, that would explain the blurred text. The converter you're using may well be OK - you may just need to tweak the output settings.

The assembled screenshot attached shows comparison shots between the original 4K videos & ones converted to 1080p using Format Factory.

Hi,

I tried converting the video using Format Factory but i am unable to make the right choice for it. Can you please suggest which one would be a better option.
I have an option of generating a video at any bitrate i want. Do u know which bit rate is accepted by trial version of power director 13 so that i can generate video at that bit rate only. I generated the video at 2k still Power Director didnt let me upload it without converting it.

Thanks in advance

EEK! That way the video is being converted twice - by different instruments

The trial version doesn't support 2K/4K resolutions. The best thing is to convert it to 1080p straight away.

The trial version isn't restricted by bitrate (MBps), so that isn't relevant.

Please provide the exact details of the 4K video & I can suggest which settings would work best in Format Factory. The easiest way to do that is to use MediaInfo. You can post the text report here as an attachment.

http://mediaarea.net/EN/MediaInfo/Download/Windows (just make sure you disallow the various bit of junk when you're installing).

I am actually trying to make an app promotional video. I am trying to record my screen and then use it in a video for more usability.
I want to make something like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_XIyVoY5vw
I have recorded my screen, learnt to move text around. I am facing problem because the text has become blurred.
So at that end all efforts are in in vain because the text aint clear and im pretty miffed about it because I cant get a solution to it.
I hope you can help me with this.

Neetika -

I don't follow what you're doing. Are you creating the video or converting one that's already made?

If you're making the promo video in PD, there should be no need to convert anything. PDR may not be able to generate that exact text style, but there is a lot you can do with it... with no text blurrng.

This was made using PDR 11 (I think) - http://youtu.be/vOCG8PbBHM0
