Can anyone tell me the maximum length of movie I can produce (using both photos and video clips, text and music) on single sided DVD? I understand the maximum size is 4.7 GB but I don't know how to convert that to minutes. Is 120 minutes too long? As you can guess I'm new to Power Director 12.

Two hours should be fine. You did not say what the aspect ratio of your video and photos were. For 16x9 use Smartfit. For 4x3 There are 4 quality options which allows more than 4.5 hours.

I answered just a few minutes ago and the forum timed out so I am answering again.

Please keep in mind, the norm is 1 hour of high quality DVD video on a single layer disc.
The more you cram onto the DVD, using Smartfit, the lower the final quality of the video will be.
That's not to say Smartfit isn't a good useful feature, it just comes with a little baggage.
70 minutes would be higher quality than 75 minutes, which would be better than 85 minutes, and so on. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
