Hi guys,
I have some videos with little oscillation.
I have doubts on how to adjust the stabilizer.
The stabilizer does drop the video quality?
Thanks for the information.

Sei italiano?

There is no rule, try different settings and choose the result you want. The stabilizer function reduces a little bit the quality because the image is resized. Messaggio agli italiani che utilizzano PowerDirector , ColorDirector o AudioDirector : http://bit.ly/1rKjrav

In my opinion yes, by zooming the image and render the video.

But depending on the blur, the end result may be better than the original video.

Stabilizador used sparingly, can give good results in many cases, especially if the film is daylight.

There are side effects like strong light flash, deceives the stabilizer, I avoid this combination. AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3

Nice to meet you
Brazil, like Italy, has its strengths and weaknesses. But they are beautiful countries!
This is a small test to check video stabilization. It is not full screen so it is not very useful for your question.

Ciao!

Yes, the result is excellent. However, the stabilized video is slightly less sharp in full screen. Messaggio agli italiani che utilizzano PowerDirector , ColorDirector o AudioDirector : http://bit.ly/1rKjrav

There are also 3rd-party stabies which work quite well, they just are not plug-ins for PD.
Let me know if you if have interest, I'll tell you the names. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.
Tape capture using 6 VCR, TBC-1000, Elite BVP4+, Sony D8 camcorder with TBC.

I also use a third-party software and offers greater customization.
But using the internal function of PD provides a lower degradation of video quality (the workflow is better)

Hi,

It's me, again.

I bought the PD13 Ultimate becase the image stabilizer.

But, the result is weird. Have some lag or oscilation.

What the right settings for a fluid video?

Thanks a lot.

You have to experiment with the settings to get a pleasing result.

My tip: So not go excessive on the settings.

Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

Thank you po your answer.
My video is not very shaky.
Now, I tried with 15 steps. Is better.
Presented only one lag.
I'll try 16 or 17 steps.
Thanks again.
