Hi there,

FINALLY going to upgrade from my PD11 to a suite.
I want and upgraded PD + PhotoDirector mostly, but Color director also really appeals to me.

There's a good Halloween deal going on at the moment, 25% off Power Director 13 Ultimate suite, with Photo Director 5 added as a bonus $149, but I can only see a download button, not an in box option.

I have a couple of questions.
1) What if my computer was to break down, and I needed to reinstall the software. If I only had the download version...how does that work?
2) Can you download on more than one computer (ie on my work PC and my home PC?)
3) There's some contention as to whether PD13 is worth upgrading from PD12. Maybe I should just go the previous version of Director suite with PD12 in it....but I don't know what it's called. Is it Media Suite?

I guess I'm looking for the best deal, with a PD upgrade, photodirector, etc. But am worried about a download.?
Can you offer any suggestions or explanations?
Thanks.

1) What if my computer was to break down, and I needed to reinstall the software. If I only had the download version...how does that work? Pay extra for disks -or- pay extra for extended download service.
2) Can you download on more than one computer (ie on my work PC and my home PC?) Can only install on one computer.
3) There's some contention as to whether PD13 is worth upgrading from PD12. According to what I have gathered from comments by expert users here on this forum, PDR13 is worth it even with few kinks to iron out yet. Maybe I should just go the previous version of Director suite with PD12 in it....but I don't know what it's called. Is it Media Suite? Yes

As I understand it upgrades are download only. Save the downloaded files to a disc, along with the cd key. It is a big download, so hopefully speed and connection reliability are not an issue. __________________________________
