It will still need the hack to work with PD. The CUDA encoder is not provided anymore in newer drivers.

Yes it works for me but I choose to produce without any additional options clicked, could it be a certain Nvidia Graphics Card series and above that they are now supporting, I use x2 in the 7XX series and it may be that they are supporting from a certain series level and above only, not sure! The work around was already posted long time ago and is shown in the next link. The hack.
Install the nVidia official drivers and copy the three missing files in the "system 32" folder.

OpenCL does not work for encoding with nVidia cards. It only useful for acceleration of some effects.

The encoder is based purely on the CUDA encoder written by nVidia called "nvcuenc.dll". nVidia deprecated it and offered the hardware-based "nvenc.dll" to force people to move to newer cards (hardware one is present only on Kepler and newer).
But that is not supported by CL, probably the quality is not acceptable.

Install the latest drivers and add the files. I have a Quadro, this newest drives don't apply to me.
I use the three files that I have posted (only two are used with a 64bit software). Those are the last available from nVidia that will perform encoding with PowerDirector (using CUDA cores).
It works on GeForce and Quadro cards. Better on Fermi (since it was designed for them) but works on newer cards too (because the .dll is pure CUDA programming).
The files are digitally signed by nVidia on May 2014 (for whoever thinks there is any funny business with them, they can check the digital signature):

Is powerdirector using NVENC instead of the older NVCUVENC? NVCUVENC supports CUDA, but according to Nvidia, the newer maxwell based cards support NVENC and are almost twice as fast as CUDA. I7-4910MQ, 16gb ram, 256 samsung evo 850 pro, gtx-860m GPU
