The purpose of this is so the video of her making a halloween spider isn't too boring to watch Sean Sale

By "frame" you mean "clip," right?

Click on the clip in the timeline>Click the Power Tools button>Check the Video Speed checkbox>Adjust desired speed with the speed multiplier slider. That's it!

EDIT>>The above will not speed up audio after a certain point. To fix the audio to match the video, right-click the audio portion of the clip on the timeline, select Edit Audio>WaveEditor. WaveEditor will open, now all you have to do is save and it will save it at the speed that matches the video speed you already set.

*There are other ways to do this task but this is the way I do it and it has worked for me.

fkaMikeB showed the classic mode.

One way that I use to speed up or slow down a video, Press and hold the (Ctrl) key on the keyboard, hold the edge of the clip (double arrow appears) drag the edge to the affixing and release, then the key, Ctrl.

If show a menu, choose the option, but common, Trim and Move All clips.

Note: after a certain point the audio is muted.

If you want to accelerate part of the clip just use the Split. AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3

Thanks guys for your comments. I have tried what you have said as discovered the video link http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/tutorial/pdr/ prior to me posting this thread. But I have done what you have said as I am just trying to make this section http://screenshots.justapps.eu/C__Users_Sean_Videos_CostCutters_jasmine-spider.pds_2014-10-15_22.31.39.png speed up whilst she is adding the legs. But when I click preview after doing the CTRL and hold it doesn't seem to have done anything the speed is the same.

Hold down the Ctrl key and drag the edge of the clip. Stretch, slows down (increasing the time of the clip).

Shorten accelerates. (reduces the time of the clip).

I use this method also works on PD13.

I show a screenshot here, http://youtu.be/sdsQNu0RIgM

Yes, that is the effect.

Did you try to render the clip? Mike B.
