I am making a Wonder Woman movie for my grand kids. One scene has wonder woman throwing a javelin with such force that it catches fire as it passes through the clouds. I am trying to figure out how to do the catching fire part. I remember a tutorial (maybe by Pd toots) that has a rocket in flight going from right to left with a flame behind. This tutorial my help me if anyone can find it for me. Or someone may have an idea how I can do what I want.

thanks,

There are a couple of FX effects in Powerdirector that may work.

They are named "Fire" and "Fire Huge" they can be modified and Keyframed. Using keyframes you can give a motion effect.

A Tutorial,
