It would be really interesting to have the cinema style presets for ColorDirector 3.
Do you know any site which explains these presets? So we can try to replicate it with ColorDirector.

Hi Pais
I've just started using CD 3 and finding it far more efficient than the previous versions. The Split Toning has opened up the possibility of creating these cinema effects with far more ease : , it really depends on what style you fancy.

Do you use ColorDirector as a stand alone tool or within PowerDirector?

Cheers I just want to edit and make pictures, walk my dog and go fishing.

Hi Kyle

I use ColorDirector with PowerDirector and I know that the Split Toning tool is very useful for this purpose.

Hi Pais sorry, I haven't found any help on any website! I've been trying it out on my own photos and video as PhotoDirector also has this facility.
So far, I've had limited success, here's a link to one of my Photodirector presetts http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/131623378
I've been playing with the "Shadows" split tone, I've have found that ( for my taste at least ) you only need a low saturation setting for the split tone to work. The default setting is way too high and really effects the highlights as well as the shadows.
Still work in progress.

Have you found any help out there?
