Hi CurtisR,

If I open my unaltered default MS Word, and type…(TM), it automatically turns itself into this… (the Trademark symbol).

I can then right click and choose to "copy" this symbol. Then once I'm back in PD's Title Designer window, I use the "Crtl+V" keys, and this Trademark symbol will appear. Then one can change the font style, size, color and position

More info is available here…

(Method 1 through 6 should meet all your needs. But there much more info provided.)

Hi CurtisR -

Sorry CP - I didn't realise you'd already responded.

If you want to add it into a Title:
1. Press Num Lock key (on)
2. Hold down Alt key
3. Type 0153
4. Release Alt key and you should have

To get ® do the same but type 0174

If you want it as a graphic, you'll find those symbols easily with a Google image search.

Cheers - Tony

You can also use Charmap.exe. It's built in with Windows...

Start -> Run or Search -> Charmap

A window will appear showing all available characters based on the selected font.

As you click on different characters, a display on the bottom status bar will show what keystrokes you can use.
U+2122: Trade Mark Sign Alt+0153

You can click the Select button, then the Copy button, switch to the application you're working in and Paste.

The U+ is the Unicode#

If the U+#### doesn't work, there's a Registry edit to enable it.

1. Open RegEdit

2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Input Method

3a. There should be an entry "EnableHexNumpad" change it to 1

3b. If that entry is not there, Right-Click on Input Method
3c. Click New -> String Value
3d. A new entry will appear, change it to EnableHexNumpad
3e. Double-click on the new entry and enter 1 in the Value data box.

You may need to log-off/log-on for the change to take affect.

Then using the U+#### you can enter things like
™ ⅓⅔⅛ ℗ © ®

When using the U+#### sequence, if windows beeps at you, ignore it. Windows thinks your trying to perform and ALT+U keystroke command. So it may beep telling you there isn't one.
