How to insert video clip with large empty space . . .

I'm working in the master video track in timeline mode.

I'm at the last video clip, and I've created several title screens that continue on farther past the last video clip - - - - like thank you's, credits, contact info. copyrights, etc.

I want to insert a 2 second video clip of fireworks to play in the background behind one of my title screens, but this title screen is 15 or 20 seconds past the last video clip - - and the software won't allow me to place the video clip with a "empty space" between the last video clip and where it needs to go to play in the background of the title screen.

Do I have to create some sort of "empty" video file with the exact time to take up that large empty space ? Or what ?

Add a black color board to the timeline to cover this "space". See http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/3522.page for color board info.
