Green Screen When Produced an MP4

Not sure what the problem is, but when I try to produce an MP4 file with what I've edited in power director 12 it creates the file but when I play the video it is only a green screen with the audio I produced.

My video drivers are up to date. I've tried producing in different resolutions, does not solve the problem. I can produce it as an MPEG 2, but I would much rather produce it as an MP4 file for my personal preference.

Any detailed help will be greatly appreciated.

A codec pack, such as K-lite, might be a good idea. It often fixes oddball import/export/viewing issues. No rush, let's see what your dxdiag says.

EDIT:
your machine is in need of more ram, your video card is underpowered and the driver is way old (2011).
Your C drive is down to 55 gb free space. Free space is something we go back and forth here on the forum, as to its importance.
If you can run something like Ccleaner, and do a defrag, you'll find some new free space and generally snappier operation.
I look forward to other analyses from fellow forum members.

MrElektric,

Thank you for the information.

First your Powerdirector is an older Patch. I recommend you update.

The latest Patch for PD 12 is 2930.
http://www.cyberlink.com/support/powerdirector-ultra/patches_en_US.html

You can use more ram, You have Windows 7 64 bit, You should have 8 GB of RAM for a 64 bit system, you only have 4GB.
I know you have a laptop computer which makes it harder to upgrade RAM.

Your HD 3000 Graphics driver is over 3 years old. Intel has newer drivers for your i5 Cpu graphics. (4/10/14)
Your current Driver Date/Size: 1/27/2011 09:57:16, 7470080 bytes

Updating the Intel HD graphics 3000 driver will likely fix your Green Screen problem.

I see you used a Windows Media Player. Have you tried a different one, such as VLC? Aside from the other good advice that has been offered in this thread, if you can upload about a 5 or 10 sec. clip from your video the rest of us can try it in our players. Dell Precision 7510 Laptop

I believe downloading the K-Lite codec solved my issue. And I also use an NVidia GT 540M for all graphics intensive software on my laptop. Not sure why it didn't show on my system info.

Thanks to you all!
