I lost the ability to use the Photo icon Snap Shoot feature of Power Director 12. It was functioning fine, then stopped taking pictures when I clicked on the Photo Icon, even tried Editing file and snap shoot from there. I went back to Power Director 11 and it works. I reloaded Power Director 12, but it did not do any good, snap shoot feature does not work. Any suggestions ? JoeVideo

Set your Snapshot destination to File.

Hi JoeVideo -

Also - for some obscure reason (even with snapshots preferences set to "File") - if you've unchecked the "Confirm captured snapshot file name" in Preferences or checked "Don't prompt me to confirm file name" in the snapshot dialogue - PD loses the ability to take snapshots.

Not saying it makes sense - just saying.

Cheers - Tony

Thank you two for your fast reply and advice. Carl132, I did your advice, but it still did not take snap shots.....
and then I followed YnotFish advice and played with Confirmation, as per his screen shot, and it worked ! I got my snap
shot function back to Power Director 12. You guys are the best ! :
regards
