My PD12 hangs out every 5-10 min and I have to restart it. My system should be powerful enough to handle a 30 min movie without hanging out. Any idea what should I do?

Open the "Welcome..." post at the top of this forum and follow instructions for parts A and B, to attach to your next post. That will help folks size up your system. No personal info is revealed.

What are you trying to play DVD.CD. on-line video, etc. Standard definition or high definition? 2D or 3D? Where did you get the video? What is the format of the file? Does it always hang in the same place? Could it be copy protected?

What else do you have running on your computer - processes or programs? Open Windows Task Manager and start playing the video. Look at the CPU usage and memory used. Tell us the maximums.

Is it the full version or a trial version?
