PDVD 14 Won't play audio from discs using S/PDIF

Hi,

My PDVD was working perfect, then I upgraded to Def Tech speakers and they use the S/PDIF optical cable.

I can't get any sound to play through it. Everything else on my PC works through it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Got the same problem -.- Always gotta use the old stereo jack only for PowerDVD

Same problem here, as soon as the video starts the speaker icon goes gray. No other app (including free VLC!) has any problem with SPDIF.

I submitted a ticket to ask about this, we'll see.

same here with DVD 14 ultra

no audio playback and is grayed S/PDIF out in power CP but I get audio if use WMP in w7/64 and see's Dolby through S/PDIF

plays fine through HDMI and see's PCM decoded

for some reason it won't use S/PDIF method at all

and volume slider is grayed on DVD player
