Removing single audio track from a stereo video clip

When I try to edit the audio from a video clip, either in Wave Editor or Audio Director, I have two tracks showing. Sometimes the noise I want to eliminate is in the one track. How do I either edit the right track or remove it? I have only been able to work with the left track.

Hope I am making sense. Going crazy with it. I do not find either program does a good job with background noise, but I did find that sometimes the noise is more evident on one track.

Have researched until my head aches. Hope someone has an answer.

Thanks.

Eu não tenho AudioDirector, suponho ele tem mais e melhores ferramentas para edição de audio.

Seeing your question, I thought you would like this in PD12.
1 option, choose the best channel, copy it to the other channel, in this case I have only the best, not stereo audio.
2 Option, just copy parts of good channel for the bad channel, overriding the defective area, use the yellow dial.

See how to copy one audio channel to another in WE
