The first try is right clicking on the video and select Copy Keyframe Attributes
But there are other ways to do it depends on what you doing. AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3
SSD SUV400S37240G / 2-HD WD 1TB
AMD Radeon R9 270 / AOC M2470SWD
Windows 7-64 / PD16 Ultimate

Tried that ... I have masked top and bottom of screen Ala CinemaScope look... And added lighting changes ... Any other way of copy and paste these to the other 400 clips would be great thanks as doing each one, is quite frankly stupid, what a frustrating bit of software . i hate software and all its updates

Hi Ady, welcome to the PD Forum. I've also found that trying to use any new software IS frustrating, I've virtually no hair left
It would help if you could describe what is involved in the construction of your FX as sometimes there can be more that one ingredient in creating FX.
For instance ... You may have created your personal FX while using the Modify command. While in the various "rooms" within Modify, you will have SAVE available and SAVE AS. If you click on the SAVE AS button you will be able to save & keep your FX in the PIP custom Objects room.
To save further time, you really should check out PDToots for some real help on using PowerDirector.
Grab a coffee pull up a chair and check out https://www.youtube.com/user/PDtoots
The time spent going through the tutorials WILL save you time on editing, we've all been there .

Cheers

I think I still do not understand exactly what you want to copy.
If you applied upgrades to 1 video use the Apply to All button.
See the picture.

Note: The "Apply to All" button adds effects to all videos in the timeline.
When I have videos that I do not want to apply the same effect, I move to another track and lock the padlock. that moment.

The buttons appear when you select a video (clip) on the timeline.
Selciona effects to your taste, then Apply to All. AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3

Did you see this video?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnOrIdfUVSA

A little over half way through, it appears to be addressing what you were asking about.

If not, sorry. But I think that is what you are saying.

Betty -

That's exactly what Ady117 is talking about - copying & pasting keyframes attributes. Playsound's "Apply to All" pointer should help too.

Ady117 - obviously this is not that other software and it doesn't function exactly the same way.

Copying & pasting keyframe attributes works for some things, but not all.

Cheers - Tony
