Move all clips to same folder before importing??

I am wondering if I should have moved all clips into one folder before being imported/used.

Once I have saved a project, then is it too late to move all clips to one folder?

Maybe there is a tutorial out there that will address this issue. If so, please direct me to it.

The more I learn, the more there is to learn.

Thanks.

Tutorial you want to find is this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAOnn8g0C_o
You can still have your files in one folder, when you open the project PD12 will ask if you want to search for, show location.
If the files were in various locations, PD12 will ask to search for each different location.

Note: To search for new locations PD12, need to rename or move the original folders to another location.
For safety, make a copy of the project file, use it as a test

The easiest thing to do, since tou've already got the project going is to Pack Project Materials, shown in the video playsound linked.

Packing the project copies the project file and all the media in your timeline (not unused stuff in the media library) to a folder of your choice.
