Stuttering/hesitating in burned disk

When I burn shorter videos, 10-20 minutes in length, no problem. But I just burned one close to an hour in length, and had many places where the picture stopped and started again. So then burned same video in safe mode. Same problem.

Is it the length of the video? Can I check anything else? Very discouraging.

Does this occur when the film is produced to a file, then played back on the PC?

If not, test a burn to disk using another format or, perhaps, another brand of media. This assumes that the optical drive itself is in good order.

Try lowering the burn speed. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
