Hi,

What is the best option to try and solve flickering light in a video? I noticed a recent video i had filmed has flickering light all over the frame, it isn't really bad but enough to notice it. It seems to look worse in darker backgrounds.

I would like to know what are the best options in PD to try and minimize it as much as possible.

Thanks!

Is possible for you to attach a short sample video.

Keep it short, 5 to 10 seconds.

Or a link on YouTube?

Hi

Cdr probably won't help but NewBlue FX Video Essentials 1 do have a Flash Remover that might do the trick and there's a free trial!

NewBlue FX are a plug-in for PD.

I can't share sample video because of the nature of the video, maybe only via private.

I did try flash remover from newblue and it did nothing for me. I can't even see a difference.

All i did was install the plugin and then open up PD and then drag the flash remover effect over the clip in the timeline. It didn't give any options, except for a small icon that says the effect is in this clip.

I have the full version and it looks like this with variable options:

If you don't have these options maybe it's a limitation with the trial version.

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to show me. I did find the settings you mention but still don't see any difference, maybe if i encode it with the effect. I might see something. I will have to give it a try.

Hi Karaarslan,
A sample of what you view is a "must do" as no-one here can see what your issue is until you provide the data. I'm curious to know what the cause of the flickering is? Is this a camera problem, or flickering caused by sunlight passing between trees for example. Please be aware that florescent lighting will cause flicking.

Hello all. Here is an example of what is happening to me. Does anyone have a clue? This clip plays perfect on other media.
