2D Trim

Using PD10 Ultra, with Win8.1.
When I try to trim a 2D clip, I receive the message - "In the Video Trim window, 3D mode is disabled and all applied effects are ignored. In order to perform a trim, Cyberlink PD must remove the applied reverse from this clip. Are you sure you want to continue?"
I don't use 3D at all, and I just continue. Is this normal or can I turn something off?

It is just telling you that you will be seeing a vanilla clip in 2D no matter it it is 2D or 3D or you applied color corrections. It is just a catch-all message and your effects aren't really removed, just not shown while cutting.
As far as I know you cannot turn the message off, but ignore. Except for maybe when you applied speed changes to the clip. Then you might not be cutting what you think you cut, but I haven't checked recently.

EDIT: I didn't check your PD version. I was talking about 12, so take what I said with a grain of salt.
