hi, I have 2 problems:

1- what is the optimum image settings and size for export in order to upload it from my pc to flickr and other image sites, I want to speed the upload time without compromising the image quality

2- I tried many times to directly use the share on flickr option, but after I provide my password user name and click authorize the system hangs, closes and I have to shut photodirector down, I also get an error report which I used to send the details of this error to cyberlink, please advise.

With many thanks
Cherry

Hello Cherry,

Firstly, I've never used flickr before. I only just opened an account to check what might be going wrong. After setting up the account, my first and only upload went without a hitch.

Could you please write down the steps you took & where it seemed to fail. It is a bit of a convoluted process.

In PhD, when you're uploading, there's an option to resize the image if you wish. I didn't select the resize option. There's no "optimal" size but if you want to limit upload times & the photos are just for online viewing 800px wide might be good enough.
