Power Media Player does not detect sound in some mkv Surface RT (ARM) and Windows 8 x86

Good morning.

So Yesterday I bought Cyberlink Power Media Player (for Surface RT through Windows Store), and so far it's been working so-so.

Firstly, there are some mkv that Power Media Player plays but there is no sound (especially if there are many soundtracks in a mkv).

Secondly, when a mkv has multiple subtitles tracks, Power Media Player does not allow me to choose any of those tracks, it only allows me to add any external subtitle (like .srt for example).

Is there a way to choose another soundtrack or another subtitle track?

I'm posting the info of one of the many affected mkv (this one has no sound and does not allow to choose a subtitle track):

Hello Michel, thank you for your fast reply

Regarding the FLAC audio, is it in PowerMedia plans to support it in the future?

And what about the subtitles? Isn't it supposed to support various subtitles tracks and let the users choose what track he wants?

Regards.

Hello daaceking.

Unfortunately, VLC has not yet been released for Windows 8 RT (Surface RT).

Hello Micheal.

Have you heard something about the embedded subtitle support from the planning team? I really need that feature because I've lots of mkv with multiple subtitles tracks embedded, and it cannot be to hard to implement given the fact that other players already support it, namely mobile.hd.

Regards.
