I am going to author a bluray disc and encode as H.264. I plan to play this with my bluray player and watch on a 55inch Vizio tv using just the TV speakers (no surround sound). What audio setting should I pick?, Dolby digital or LPCM?

Hi,
I don't think it would really be relevant...as if it is played on a stereo equipped system ...unless at some time you wished the 5.1 surround or 7.1 surround at a later date.. to produce in the surround sound setting you wish...if the devices you have don't support the 5.1 it will get output to mono or two channel any way..
Jim
p.s. I have hearing impairment and utilize Sennheisser amplification device which is LCPM but my TV system is 5.1 surround sound
