How to add a motion path to a title?

Hi all,

I've made a title and I want to make it move, using a custom motion path. It's clear how that's done with a PiP object, but I don't have the same motion possibilities with a title; just the standard things like fade, roll in etc. How can I add a motion path to a title?

I assume the most logical way would to save the title as a PNG and then import it as a PiP? How do I save a title as PNG? I cannot find an option for that.

I hope you can help me out!

Hi there AlmightyArjen (you modest fellow you!) -

You've 75% answered your own question.

After making your title, make sure your file snapshot preferences are set to .png.

Place the title on the timeline with nothing else behind it (i.e. black screen)

Now - take a snapshot of the preview screen - it is a .png file with a transparent background

Insert the snapshot and set your motion path.

It's (al)mightily explained in this tutorial - http://youtu.be/LOSTXFTr1lk

Cheers - Tony
