Is the driver for your device installed?

Did you install Powerdirector on Windows Vista?

Ok, you installed the software for your Video Grabber.

The other question, Did you Install Powerdirector via the installation files or Disk on your Windows Vista.
Or did you just copy the Powerdirector files from Windows XP?

Have you investigated the Setting button on the bottom right of the Capture module?

Settings > Video setup Tab, Capture Source. Set to your connection of your VCR video connection Composite if using the Yellow RCA plug, S-Video if using the Round Black din.

This is a old thread (2014), you should start a new Topic.

You need a Capture Device to capture video and audio from a VHS tape Player. The device also must have a working Driver for your current version of Powerdirector and Windows. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.
