Hi Kyle 40,
Just go to,
C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector12\AlphaTransition
1. You can duplicate the default Alpha images and alter in an image editor.
1-1. I suggest you save the manipulated png file away from the Program Files and import it in as a second action.
2. You just have to import a greyscale png into the above location when PDR12 is closed for the program to see the file when opened.
2-1. The drawbacks are - the file naming within PDR12.
2-2. The display is basically a 2D wipe.
3. You can easily make your own Alpha transitions by simply greyscalling an image using an image editor and then saving to a png.
4. The frame size isn't ridged - so you have quite a bit of manipulation available to you.
5. Create a "Custom" location in Transitions and drag the Alpha's you make or alter into them..
6. Greyscale png files are the ones to make - make these from jpegs etc.
7. As a final thought. Editors here can share the Alpha Transitions they make and that would be an answer to the OP's original needs.
Have fun.
Dafydd
