I am having the same issues except with DVDs, I have been working trying to figure it out by deduction, I feel it may be the CD / DVD drive it self as mine no longer reads any pre recorded DVD at all anymore, ( I try them in my regular DVD player and they play fine, but if I put it in my computer, the computer does not even recognize it .) The only thing that is strange about this is that the computer recognizes a blank DVD and the power2go starts up, it goes through the process of getting the files ready to write and starts the writing process,,, then after a few min. all the sudden it stops & the error box pops up......
and the other oddball situation, it reads & writes & recognizes Cd's perfectly
here is the details......

I have tried downloading & reinstalling power to go with no difference
I have also reinstalled the driver for the CD/DVD drive but to no avail.
A Tech friend suggested I try a new DVD/Cd rw drive as the cheaper ones are only 40 to 50 bucks,
However it would be nice if someone can help out before I spend the money on a new drive (and it turns out to be the power 2 go program its self)
