DivX maximum video size in PD7

I've PD7 trial version installed, downloaded the latest DivX 6.8.2 and installed the codec.
Then I started with a new project, set the aspect ratio to 16:9, took a sample AVCHD video from my digicam with resolution 1920x1080i and tried to create an output file with DivX (produce->Create a file->DivX). In the Video/Audio Settings the video size is gray and set to 640x360. I did also set the DivX properties under Codec Settings to Profile 1080HD and increased the bit rate to 16.000kbit/s. If I render the video, then the output is really the ridiculous 640x360 pixels. On the other hand, if I render the same project in MPEG2 or AVCHD or WMV (including creating an additional profile) then the output file has the expected 1920x1080 pixels.
What did I made wrong, that PD7 does not allow me/did not to set the video size in a DivX coded video to 1920x1080?
Thank you for your help,

Herbert

I learnt, that PD7 is simply restricted to this low-end resolution. It's a shame, that Cyberlink doesn't even support standard dvd-resolution (720x576) with DivX.
There is enough competition out there, which provide full-HD resolution with DivX (e.g. Pinnacle Studio 12, Adobe Premiere Elements 7).
