Pixel failure, when creating a DVD

Hey.

When i import a mediefile mp4 or TS file, everything Works fine.

1) I choose 16:9 for the videoformat and then Interlaced
2) I insert chapter for every 4 minutes.

Now i go to create disk, and take a preview before the video to DVD.

My general settings are:

Activate HD shadow file (ACTIVATED)
Producer: remove noise with using mpg1, mpg2, h.264 decoder (NOT ACTIVATED)
Hardwareaccelation: Activate Open CL technology (ACTIVATED)
Hardwareaccelation: Activate hardware-decoding (ACTIVATED)

Here come my problem

When i burn the video to DVD using 2D, smart fit .......... I've got pixel failure, when changing chapter.
In some chapters, i've seen small squares in the Picture when i play the finished DVD on a DVD player.

I tryed to reduce the videofile from handbreake, in mkv or mp4, and i still god the same problem

Is there any solution for that ??

What is the time-length of your video?
I ask this because a DVD will hold about 1 hour of HQ video.

I use Kingston Hyper X DDR3 16 GB 2133mhz for memory.
My CPU are i7 3,6 MHz.

I'm able to tune this to CPU and memory to:

CPU 4500 MHz and Kingston hyper x 16 gb ddr3 to 2000 MHz.

If I tuner so will this affect CyberLink for better performence?

I do not think it has anything to do with you rig, rather its the longish video and settings. Try changing the noise reduction in Preferences, and burn to a folder first. If it looks ok you can then burn that folder to a DVD using a disc burning program such as Power2Go, or free IMGburn.

For burning DVD, i also burn to a folder, and using CloneDVD for disc burning.

Frosty, turn off your Overclocking.
Try rendering with:

Activate HD shadow file (ON)

Use MPEG2 and see what you get.

Shadow files should be off, you have plenty of horsepower, you'll never need them except perhaps for 4k very high bitrate.

and then if you still get pixelation, try:

Using an Nvidia card it seems you get better results if you uninstall the NVidia 3D Vision Driver.
I don't have it installed and according to Nina's post here it can cause problems.

That's a good idea Barry and I'm think the overclocking or the H264 compression might be causing pixelation but I was thinking if the footage is pretty clear already, noise reduction will only add an overhead to the process of rendering.

I will try that. I dunno if the videofiles i wanna edit are to big for Powerdirector 12. The video filesize are 3-4 GB in TS og M2TS.

I've got an HD PVR Capture box from Haupauge, to transfer old VHS and videocamera tapes to mp4, ts or m2ts.
I dunno if the videofiles are to big to fit with Powerdirector 12. If not, the could be a codec problem in powerdirector, that solve these problems.

I will try to create a blu-ray instead a DVD, to see if there is a problem there with pixel failure.

I still get these pixel failure, whn i burn the project on a dvd, and Watch it on my dvd player.
I also cheked it out at my friends, and they do have the same problems too.

Still no solutions ............ i Use Windows 8 64 bit, is it compatible with Powerdirector 12, or do u suggest Windows 7 64 bit ?

I guess a software update, can solve the problems with Cyberlink Powerdirector 12.

Hi,
I would say that the pixelation is caused by using smart fit as is degrades trying to fit the project into the DVd size requirements.
I would suggest ( not knowing your system specs) to avoid using smart fit and use DL DVD's. which are larger than single layer, also turn off shadow files. also burn at lower burn speed on the DVD burner as sometimes The burn speed is faster than your system caching process and some bits get missed.

I've seen this error here when I created DVD directly PD12, I sent complaint to Cyberlink support and did not get a satisfactory answer.
It only happens when I rederização full DVD with other DVD that will connect SVRT has no problems for me.
Note: Whether SVRT will connect the DVD creation is complicated, can be deduced by the video profile or obervado the time spent.
One suggestion save the video file in (Producer) on a compatible DVD profile, create DVD from this file (must call SVRT) to avoid recoding (render) AMD-FX 8350 / 8GB DDR3
