how to Create or set custom video output image in PD12

Hi I just upgraded to PD12.

After my video Produces, it only displays a generic image. I want mine to display an image from the video (similar to how Youtube picks a "preview" image of the video). How can I do this? I believe this is called Poster Frame in Adobe Premiere.

Hi there -

That's not a function of PowerDirector, but Windows... and then it depends a little which software you have set as your default for that video format.

If you go to Control Panel > Folder Options > View, uncheck "Always show icons, never thumbnails".

If you're referring to a disc menu, that's a different question.

I am in Control Panel, but do not see a "Folder Options" menu. Could it be someplace else?
