Hello,
Per your power director 10 user manual it mentions the following:

Extra Information: If your computer is running on a 32 bit operating
system, you can only see three resolution options (Low Preview
Resolution, Normal Preview Resolution, and High Preview
Resolution) in the pop-up menu. However, if your system is running on a
64 bit operating system, you will see two additional resolution options: HD
Preview Resolution and FULL HD Preview Resolution.

I am running a 64 bit why am I not able to use the other use the hd preview resolution and full hd preview resolution which is grayed out with version le 10.0.0.2810

It also depends on the capability of your video card.

And some on the resources of your computer.

If you post a DXdiag.txt file we can look 'under the hood'.
