Hi,

I'm using Audio Director4. This software came with my DirectorSuit2 version.
I've imported from PD12 a piece of audio and used the Restore "Noise Reduction" Option.
Now I need to use one of the both Options to save my edited clip to a new file, but both
are not enabled: The [Produce], and The [File\Export Audio To PoweDirector].
I'm a Newbie. Boughted the software DirectorSuite2 only two weeks ago.

Please I need help.

Thank's in advance.

Nicha

Hello Nicha,

Welcome to the ADR forum.

I have to admit that I find that part of the ADR interface a little bewildering. I'll bring this to the attention of the R&D team.

When you send your audio clip from PowerDirector to AudioDirector and complete your audio editing, there are options greyed out that you'd think should be available.

If you follow these steps, your edited audio will be sent back to PDR:

Many thank's to you PIX

You're right. But my problem too is; what if I want to save into another file on my disk?
And when I finished "restore", "Mix" or "Edit" the ADR pop up a message that tell you to
click on "Produce" or on the "Export Audio to PD". Shouldn't those be available?

Sometimes need Export to another file, to use in other projects. I noticed thet the same thing happens in
my WaveEditor. I just can pcedure, as you mentioned in your answer, to get back to PD12. But that I
already known.

Thank you once more. I still need to know what's going on, please.

Oh I see!

When you click Back to return to PDR, then Yes to save the changes, the adjusted audio file appears in PDR's Media Library.

That WAV file is saved in your Output Folder, which (by default) is C:\Users\UserName\Documents\CyberLink\PowerDirector\12.0

If you import a video/audio file directly into ADR, you will have the option to produce to audio or video format & you have more control over quality settings!

Hi PIX.

Many thank's to you once more.

Just let me see If I understand it;

When I enter the ADR, caming from PD12 on clicking the option "Edit Audio", whatever I'll do with that Clip will be saved to that directory and imported into my library project. right? But, In order to reach the other options - like Produce - I have to Import the Audio/video file directly into ADR4, not from PD12. Is that Right?

In that case, what should I do, whenever I'll need to edit a Audio/video already in PD12 Timeline, and afer Edition, want to create another file from that same Clip, now edited, in order to use that Audio in another timeline position on the same Movie, for instance?

In other words, Supose you want to use, after Edited, the Audio of one Clip in the Tileline, in another Video Clip in the same Movie. What should I do?

I'll wait for your help. Let me thank uou for all your support.

Best regards
Nicha
