Browse for missing file function

Hi!

I am using Cyberlink 9 at the moment and have just installed a trial of v 12 to see if things have improved or not.

One thing that really surprises me is the "browse for missing files" function when you have moved or changed name on folders/ volumes and the project no longer can find the needed files.

You still (in version 12) have to browse for each file in the project although all/many files are located in the same folder and the program could easily browse the folder automatically and map all files found in the located folder.

This is functionality that I would expect in a program as competent and popular as PowerDirector.
All other programs I use for sound/music editing etc has this kind of funtiionality.

It's quite tiresome to locate each and every file if the project has 30+ small separate video files.

Is this something that is planned for later versions?

Best Regards
/Hakan

Hi again!

When I tried to open one of my other old projects I saw that the browse function actually loacates all files in the same folder so I was
a little bit wrong there, sorry! :

What happened was that I tried to locate files with a different file extension in the first case.
Same filename etc but the project looked for .mpg when I had re-captured the files as .m2t, so the program did not see it as the same file and did not look for other files in the same folder.
