I've used MP4 1920x1080 with 16mbps at 25p for my footage. Imported into iTunes and then stream it from my Apple TV. Very impressed with the outcome.

Cheers,

Thanks Andrew.
Just out of interest, did your footage come from an iPhone?
I've noticed that my 5s produces video at 30 frames per second and in the UK we are PAL (25 fps) but the ATV3 seems to work with either frame rate.....which is somewhat bizarre! PowerDirector 12 Build 2420

No, from my video camera which shoots at 1920x1080 50p 28mbps. Footage shot on the iPhone should (don't quote me on this) already be in the correct format so individual clips can just be imported into iTunes and streamed.

If you are putting several clips together then you could TRY the intelligent SVRT in 'Produce' after putting all the clips on the timeline first to render it or use the settings I used, but use the 30p setting as it shoots in 30 frames.

Cheers,

Andrew
