Can't play 3D in 1080p24ghz

I'm trying to play bluray 3d from my laptop to a samsung 3dtv.I have HDMI 1,4 and i can see in 3D BUT only in 720p.When i try the 1080p24ghz resolution a message says Cyberlink PowerDVD could not enable 3D playback try choosing a different 3d display device.Does anyone has a solution??

I have nvidia gt 540m and i updated it yesterday.can it be the cards fault?maybe it doesnt support 1080?

I've had the same problem with nVIDIA 610m.
Try to set MANUALLY 3D 1080p24 in nVidia Control panel. This solved my problem.
