Mixing frame rates (50p and 30p)

I have a Panasonic HDC-HS700 camcorder which shoots at 50p (I live in Australia which is a PAL region) and also a HX-WA30 which is a smaller, waterproof vertical camcorder that shoots in 30p (apparently they were imported without having the framerate changed for PAL). I want to combine the footage from both cameras but because the framerates don't divide into each other it reduces the quality of the 30p footage signifigantly. Is there any way I can improve the quality of the footage or will I just have to put up with it being jagged and jumpy? Any advice or info would be much apprecaited.

Cheers!

Which footage is jagged and jumpy?
One or both of your cameras is making interlaced video.

If the footage is interlaced and the output profile is interlaced, you can get the jagged edges.

If you can input progressive video and output progressive video the jags will go away.

The frame rate is not that much of a factor, Powerdirector will convert the footage to match the output profile (whichever you choose).
