Ok, for 4 Days now, I am waiting to get my license unblocked..
This is ridiculous.
How long does it take???????? Weeks?
I gave all the proof, and all I get is "We are going to investigate, why this happened"
I installed it over 10+ times.... Thanks to crappy Windows 8 / 8.1
Now I am threatened as a fricking pirate...
You got my damn invoice online.... thanks a lot!!!!

I understand your anger. Please remember that this is a users group and NOT tech or sales support. If posting here makes you feel better, great. Just don't expect anything but a suggestion to contact sales or tech support.

One further suggestion. Check your spam folders. Any replies MIGHT end up there.

Out of curiosity... did you give your license number to someone else, family member or friend? Did you attempt to install the software with a single license on several computers? My collection: http://www.blu-ray.com/community/collection.php?u=194008&action=showcategory&category=1&categoryid=7

I re-installed it a bunch of times, between Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 .. now I went back to 8. Got a new laptop. then an SSD
so it's about 10-12 times I had to reinstall..
Tech support is not responding, all I get is that it's a technical issue and they are analyzing the screen shot

Hi

I actually started a thread here the other day since I'm getting a new computer and am worried about transfering my BD drive which came with Power DVD 8 and then I upgraded to Power DVD 12 last year when it came out to the new computer.I'll be going also from Windows Vista(Windows 7 came out a month after I bought my current computer) to Windows 8.

Here's the link to my thread where I go into detail about what I'm concerned about. For example.Should I immediately upgrade to Windows 8.1 and if I do will there be a problem with Power DVD 12? There was one with the people who have Power DVD 13 and Cyberlink provided a patch the other day to fix the issue.Since they did not provide one for Power DVD 12 and nobody reported problems with watching Blu Rays with Power DVD 12 on Windows 8.1,is it safe to assume that the issue requiring a patch fix was confined to Power DVD 13?Should I just stick to Windows 8?Again it's a desktop going to another desktop but I'm going from Windows Vista to Windwos 8(My laptop I'm currently using has Windows 7).

That's just one of the questions I had in the below link.

I'm not very good with Tech and computers so I'm really am nervous about getting this set up.But your problem does worry me that I could run into the same issue.I've never transfered a BD drive from one computer to another before. It's my first time doing something like this. The Geek Squad are one actually doing the work once I buy the new computer but this is just another concern/question I have added to what I posted about in my thread.

At least they are trying !. Did you buy it directly from Cyberlink or via a third party like e-Bay? Perhaps you are just an innocent victim.

Always keep in the back of your mind that you chose to install W8 and then W8.1. Also think that they may be having issues resetting the count in these newer OS. .
