How do I create blank space before the start of a video?

I wanted to have the first 5 seconds of the video only display the title without playing the actual captured file. However, I can't seem to find a way to drag the video forward by 5 secs. Could someone help?

Put a color-card from the library before the first clip and than a title in the title-track. Viele Gruesse Georg

Drag the color board (any color) to the beginning of the video and click on "duration" to make it onscreen as long as you want.
Then you can set up a title into the color board and make it stay on as long as you want.
