I have upgraded from PD11 to PD12 and I have applied latest update.

There doesn't seem to be as many Transitions . I cannot find any transitions for Swipe/Wipe/Slide Left or Right. I always thought they were in PD11. I may be getting mixed up with Pinnacle Studio which I had before PD11.

Also with PD11 there was an 'Essentials' file to install. Is there an extra Essentials type of installation for PD12.

Finally is there any way you can reverse the direction of some of the Transitions.
Cheers

Hi there -

All the transitions are there. PD12 just has the Wipe/Slide transitions grouped. Takes up less library real estate, I guess.

Apply a Wipe or Slide transition - click Modify - then you can switch direction... up, down, left, right.

Cheers - Tony

Don't know what I did but after editing a video sound suddenly noticed a series of green squares just by the time indicator on the timeline. When playing back this portion is just black screen.. what have I done and how do I remove the offending problem
Cheers

New topic --- best to start a new thread for it.

Editing a video "sound" ??

Try deleting the temporary files, under EDIT|PREFERENCES|GENERAL tab "manually delete."

When checking about deleting temp files as suggested . The list shoes many files as in use. To be safe I did not delete any until clarified.
Is it safe to delete all these files whether 'in use' or not.
