Ditto. I checked the version MediaObj.dll file that was part of the original fix via Dafydd, and saw that it was not updated by installing 2230 because it was already at the correct version. I imagine that anyone who hadn't manually changed the MediaObj file would have the correct version installed by 2230.

Interestingly, the "fixed" version of the .dll file is 9.0.1.823, whereas the problematic version that 2209 installed was 9.0.1.916, so they actually reverted to an older file to get rid of the Dolby Digital glitch.

The screen still fails to refresh correctly until I have waved the pointer all over the window.

Rolled back to the previous version since this build is causing crashes again.

Yeah, that issue has been there since PD11. I usually minimize the editor window using the upper right minimize icon then restore the window by clicking on the taskbar icon, but sometimes, I just wave the cursor over the area that I need to access. It's certainly annoying but not a game-stopper.

All in all, this was a really fast fix / patch.
Less than 4 business working days.
Impressive.

So cudos and thanks to the Cyberlink gremlins working away in the background.
Much appreciated.

Hi Erik

You have to:

1. Ensure you have a back up of the PD12 program (e.g. disc or exe file)

2. Completely uninstall PD12 then re-install it.

3. Go to the Software Update page and download previous patch and install this.

Happy editing Happing editing

Hi, I have a problem with the v12. I can't make a diapo with only 5 photos!
It makes well but when I want to finalize it and so put it on the time line, powerdirector freezes at 10%!
Do you know what may be the cause please?
