I have a logo that is in black and white. I would like to trace it, and make it look like it is coming alive with a laser. I hope this makes since. Does anyone know how to do this, or a video on youtube?

This is our logo. What I would like to do is use it as a templet. The finished product would be a total black back ground then a laser type effect starts drawing the state and Basset.

Hi,
Back..I downloaded your Image to check it out. The 'State" (Georgia(?) is it could be done but with some effort, but to do the dog would be a tedious effort (in my opinion). But it could be achievable if you have the patience.
This is my personal opinion and I have not tried anything that complex myself.

Have you tried the Drawing Tool ?
See this tut. Dafydd did for PD 10 has some good examples: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5h2BtKhbT8

Just play around with the brush sizes and color
Then speed it up after you are done by clicking the Duration tab or else dragging and reducing the size of the animation.
