Every time I try to burn DVD authoring progress freezes or stops at 10%. Tried to uncheck the auto save but same problems keep repeating.

I'm only new myself to Cyberlink, but have you checked your project at the approximate 10% mark to see what's there that might be causing the problem? Has this project been 'produced' before made into a DVD? I found it definitely easier to produce the video, the use the new production to create the dvd. But first, just look at the project to see if perhaps there's a lot going on in the project just there. Perhaps your computer has not got the grunt to manage it. Eg a title, plus pip object, plus fade plus video and audio...maybe it's too much? Jenny

Auto save should be kept. It may save you from disaster. Auto save has nothing to do with creating a disk. All auto save does is make backups of the Project file.

In Powerdirector Create Disk Module any progress less than 21% is indication of Menu problems.

Try the No Menu option in Menu Preferences. Uncheck Burn Disk, check Burn Folder to test, no need to burn up disks.

If you get a successful Folder, you can either try with a Menu or you can burn that folder to disk using a Freeware Disk burning app.
