Does PD7 have anything like a desnow filter to reduce grain on low light cam footage?

The only image adjustment solution I can give you Nigel is to:

Open PD
Place a video or image into the time-line
Right click on it > Edit Video > Color
The popup is a Magic Clean tool which will allow you to Clean Video and Audio - Adjusting Lighting, Color,White balance.

Or click the Color shortcut icon.

I've attached an image of what options are then available to you.
