We are working (still) on a choral concert that was shot with a Sony camcorder. We have the audio from that as well as one that was provided by the concert hall. The choral director likes the reverberation in the audio we have, but there is also considerable background noise. The concert hall audio has a clean, but almost sterile sound and since the microphones on the stage were used for the inputs the songs where singers were scattered in the audience was lost.
He'd like us to merge the audio into one to get the benefits of each--basically adding the reverb to the audio and boosting the overall sound. Is there a good way to do this? We are complete newbies to this and have been struggling as it is to isolate pieces of babies crying and delete them...which we weren't able to do completely since their voices are merged with the singing.
I would really appreciate any help.
Thanks!
