ADDING CLIPS TO TIMELINE

When drag and dropping single clips to timeline I have to manually butt them up to the previous clip, which is time consuming. In previous versions of Power Director the clip automatically moved left and next to the clips on timeline irrespective of where you place it on timeline

Click the timeline anywhere to the right of existing clips. Then, in the media area, right click the clip to be added and choose INSERT ON SELECTED TRACK. The new clip will butt up to the existing clips.

As to the above query I also received this response from Technical support

I understand your concern that you are facing problem with video on the time line while using the POwerDirector 11 software.

In regards to your concern, I would like to inform you that in previous version also clip did not join automatically. We need to place the clips manually to the next clip. If you will place the clip at the end of the timeline then it will not join the previous clip automaticaly.
They state that " that in previous version also clip did not join automatically " which I know it Did in PW ver 7
