Select PD 11 as Default Video Editor

How do I fix it so any video file will open in PD 11 instead of Windows media Player? I have Windows 7 64 bit. Usually you just right click the file and select "open in", but open is not present.Thanks

Hi there pemongillo -

You can't. PD is video editing software, so it does not actually "open" video, audio or image files. It opens PowerDirector project files (with the .pds file extension).

Yes - it imports video, audio & image files, but it cannot be set as the default program to open/play those files.
